Ep. #03 – Nintendo Switch: Gimmick or Game-Changer?

A few weeks ago, Nintendo had their big unveiling of their new console called the Switch. Although it seems pretty neat on surface level, once we looked a bit closer, we noticed a few things that could present some issues with the new gaming system. In today’s episode, we decided to chat about the Switch, and speculate whether the interesting new features could in fact be game-changing, or just a ploy for Nintendo to bait and “Switch” you once more.

Ep. #02 – The Future of Star Wars

In episode 2, we discuss the future of the Star Wars franchise. First, Andrew gives us the skinny on what’s been confirmed with the future trilogy films, as well as the spin-offs. We also talk a little bit about what we liked and disliked about The Force Awakens and Rogue One. Then, we cast some predictions on what we could see in the future with episodes VIII & IX, as well as the spin-off movies that we would personally like to see materialize.

Ep. #01 – Originals In Cinema

Hello everyone! Our main topic today is about original films. I thought it would an appropriate topic since this is our first episode, and originals and beginnings kind of go hand in hand. We’re living in a world where original screenplays are few and far between. Most of what we see in theaters nowadays are movies based on books/comic books, reboots, or sequels. Don’t get me wrong, we all love these movies, and there’s very little that will keep us from continuing to see these films. However, it is a sad fact that original films could be considered a dying breed. Today, we’re going to dedicate our very first episode to originals in cinema.
