This week David welcomes back video game enthusiast and podcast guest alum Chase Hartsook to discuss a few things video game related, including Nintendo’s recent Indie World Showcase!
Our friend Tiffany Elder returns to the podcast today for a long-awaited episode of the podcast: An in-depth discussion of Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
Greetings, fellow geeks and nerds! We hope you all are fairing well out there right now. Things at the moment are…quite strange, to say the least. So we put together an episode for you that might help you make it through this “Social Distancing” period that we are all having to endure.
Long-time video game collector and enthusiast Chase Hartsook joins us today to discuss the fantastical world of collecting video games. Chase gives us an in-depth look at what it takes to be a successful collector, and offers several extremely helpful tips to anyone that’s looking to either get into video game collecting, or wants to up their “game” with their current collection.
For part 2 of #RoadToMTAC2019, Connor Miller and Kirk Griffin join the podcast to discuss digital gaming. First, we talk about how digital gaming is so deeply embedded into the Con scene, especially MTAC. Then, we do something a little new to the show: We take turns pulling topics out of a hat. Some of those topics include our favorite console/PC games of 2018 and the future of gaming (i.e. VR/AR).
A few weeks ago, Nintendo had their big unveiling of their new console called the Switch. Although it seems pretty neat on surface level, once we looked a bit closer, we noticed a few things that could present some issues with the new gaming system. In today’s episode, we decided to chat about the Switch, and speculate whether the interesting new features could in fact be game-changing, or just a ploy for Nintendo to bait and “Switch” you once more.
