Ep. #150 – Our Experience at Nashville Comicon 2022

On June 4th and 5th, we had the amazing opportunity to attend the inaugural Nashville Comicon to promote the podcast and sell our wares! Between meeting some amazing people, seeing some talented cosplayers, and making a little bit of money, our experience was absolutely incredible. Even if you didn’t attend the convention, we still encourage you to listen to this episode!

A shout-out to the talented artists that we had the pleasure of meeting:

Ep. #67 – DC FanDome 2020 Recap

Episode #67 finds our Geeks nerding out over all the DC announcements and reveals that were made this past Saturday, August 22nd.

Ep. #46 – To Go Beyond… (feat. Mack & Tiffany Elder)

For our very first Star Trek episode, we take a look at the history of the long-running show, it’s cultural impact on both nerd-based and regular society, and ask serious questions such as “What’s the best iteration of Star Trek, and why is it The Next Generation?”

Ep. #45 – Snoochie Boochies & Chocolate Covered Prezels (feat. Jaren Prince)

The podcast welcomes Jaren Prince, a one-of-a-kind Silent Bob cosplayer, avid fan of Kevin Smith movies, and just an all-around good dude. Jaren, David, and Ted chat about Smith’s filmography, especially his most recent film “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot”. Jaren also talks about how he got into Silent Bob cosplay, attending comic conventions, and even meeting Kevin Smith himself!

Ep. #40 – We Came, We Saw, We GalaxyCon-quered

It’s our GalaxyCon 2019 episode! Ted and I take this opportunity to thank the fine people that ran the convention for putting on such an incredible event. We also talk about attending GalaxyCon Louisville for the first time, a few things we did that worked well, and then finally throw out some shout-outs to all the fine artists and vendors we got to meet at the convention!

Shout-Outs to all the amazing artists in the Exhibitor Hall!

The Geek Garage is Headed to GalaxyCon 2019!

Oftentimes hard work, dedication, and persistence goes unnoticed and/or unappreciated. But we don’t work hard and bust our butts for recognition. We do so, because working hard at work worth doing is one of the more noble parts of life.

However, every once in a while, the sky opens up and drops something precious in your lap. And it’s because of all the hard work you’ve put forth, you’re able to recognize this precious thing. This is what has happened to the podcast.

Ep. #30 – Live from MTAC 2019: Cosplay

It’s finally here! Our #RoadToMTAC2019 series comes to a close with Part 4/Live from MTAC episode, where we discuss cosplay with some of MTAC’s con-goers/cosplayers.

I’d like to thank all of my guests that came on the episode:  McKensey Guffey and her friend Sarah, Ziggy McGee, Rika Fields, Kirk Griffin, and Andrew Knollenberg.

In addition, I want to thank all of our loyal listeners. Without you, none of this would be possible. It’s been a wild, amazing ride so far, and I can’t wait to share the next chapter of the Geek Garage with you all!
